Drug toxicity is usually a combination of multiple mechanisms. A single experimental method is unlikely to capture the complexity of cytotoxicity.
High content screening uses automatic fluorescence imaging to simultaneously analyze multi parameter indicators of cytotoxicity. It can detect the general cell death and / or cell death mechanism in the same cell population in the same well, and can cover a wide range of cellular pathological changes.
Creative Bioarray has the advanced high content screening equipment.
Creative Bioarray provides a cell-based cytotoxicity team to evaluate key toxicity markers, including cell number, nuclear concentration, total nuclear strength, cell permeability, mitochondrial membrane potential and cytochrome c release.
The cells were incubated with many known toxic and nontoxic compounds at different concentrations. At the end of the incubation period, the cells were loaded with relevant dyes / antibodies and scanned with an automatic cell imager to determine a set of cell health markers.
