Fig. 1 Effect of antioxidants on bone cells at the molecular and cellular level in bone resorption. (Domazetovic et al., 2017)
Bone is one of the most important tissues in the human body. Oxidative stress injury of bone cells (such as chondrocytes and osteoblasts) is closely related to arthritis and osteonecrosis, which will bring serious pain and burden to patients. Oxidative stress is the sudden production of a large number of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which leads to oxidative damage due to abnormal metabolism, endogenous or exogenous stimulation, damage to the antioxidant defense system, destruction of oxygen free radical production and clearance, and accumulation of reactive oxygen species. Current studies have found that the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory diseases and bone resorption-related diseases is related to oxidative stress caused by reactive oxygen species.
As an expert in the field of cellular stress, Creative Bioarray has established in Vitro osteoblast and chondrocyte oxidative stress models through a variety of stressors and can evaluate and screen antioxidative drugs based on these models. Our template is to help customers study the stress and/or pathological significance of the bone system, and provide important theoretical support for the identification of orthopedic-related diseases.
Creative Bioarray is dedicated to providing high-quality products, comprehensive services, and tailored solutions to support and facilitate life sciences and pharmaceutical research and development. If you have any questions or needs, please contact us, and our customer service staff will help you the first time.
